Position Overview:

As a Salesforce Solution Architect, you will have responsibility for the successful implementation, integration, and customization of Salesforce applications. In this capacity, you will be an expert in Salesforce functionality, technology, and implementation in order to provide your team with a combination of pre-sales activities, solution consulting, technical contribution leadership, and mentoring.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Leading discovery sessions that demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Salesforce products, structure, and security models
  • Leading internal and external customer project meetings such as huddles, discovery sessions, sprint reviews, UAT and customer training sessions
  • Designing complex sales and service solutions, as well as solutions for multi-platform and specialty projects, using both standard and custom functionality
  • Speaking with confidence and expertise around Salesforce specialty products (CPQ, FSL, Marketing Cloud, etc.)
  • Performing data clean-up and complex loading functions using Data Loader and Dataloader.io and/or providing data best practice recommendations to team members and customers
  • Creating comprehensive security models and complex automations from customer requirements
  • Designing custom objects and complex entity relationship diagrams (ERDs) as well as solutions utilizing middleware tools and interfacing with outside systems
  • Providing clear direction and concise feedback to team members on client-facing  documentation including project scope, proposals, designs, amendments, and change requests
  • Supporting all project management activities for customer engagements by logging and escalating issues, maintaining time-tracking software, and assigning and following-up on tasks
  • Actively ensuring project team members are following operational excellence criteria including logging time, escalating issues, and participating in project team huddles
  • Acting as a subject matter expert on specialty products during sales and delivery cycles
  • Advising company stakeholders about key platform changes and providing strategic guidance on product changes
  • Accurately estimating effort levels on tasks and deliverables for portions of the project

Key Experience and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
  • 4+ years Salesforce experience preferred 
  • Salesforce certification(s) preferred:
    • Salesforce Administrator
    • Platform App Builder
    • Two of the following:
      • Sales Cloud Consultant
      • Service Cloud Consultant
      • Health Cloud Accreditation
    • Two of the following:
      • Community Cloud Consultant 
      • Pardot Specialist AND Pardot Consultant
      • Marketing Cloud Email Specialist
      • Marketing Cloud Consultant
      • Marketing Cloud Administrator
      •  CPQ Specialist
      • Field Service Lightning Consultant
      • Certified Application Architect
  • Superior organizational skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects is essential
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to deliver your message to varied audiences
  • High level of  self-motivation and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • High level of comfort with a fast-paced work environment and ability to adapt to changes in processes or company culture
