Position Overview:

The Regional Manager has a direct hand in crafting the strategy for our markets. This position requires a high degree of comfort in conversations with C-level executives with anywhere from 100-5,000 employees. You’ll need to know how to navigate complex deals and communicate effectively both internally and externally.



  • Pursuing sales opportunities through multiple channels including referrals, networking/marketing events, existing client relationships, and targeted lead generation
  • Reporting on sales activity and managing your opportunity pipeline according to company standards
  • Assisting with designing the best technical solution for clients as part of the scoping process
  • Visiting Salesforce offices to build and foster relationships with Account Executives who are aligned to your region
  • Uses a strategic approach to navigate the salesforce network by connecting with key stakeholders such as AE’s and RVP’s
  • Developing relationships with client decision-makers and confidently demonstrating business process expertise when advising client executives and stakeholders, during both the Torrent sales and service phases
  • Utilizing expert knowledge in sales, service, and marketing, as well as industry-specific business knowledge where applicable, to support the clients’ project needs
  • Leading sales discovery sessions that demonstrate an understanding of Salesforce products, structure, and security models
  • Identifying and communicating project risks and issues in a timely manner and developing and managing risk mitigation plans when necessary to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Utilizing expert knowledge in sales, service, and marketing, as well as industry-specific business knowledge where applicable, to support the clients’ project needs
  • Maintains accurate data information on sales leads, accounts, contacts and opportunities
  • Navigates the internal torrent processes to obtain appropriate approvals
  • Provides accurate monthly forecast within the specified range
  • Modeling leadership to team members by executing a high level of work, ensuring that project coaching is a key element for all project team members, and taking a lead role in enablement meetings and internal company presentations

Education and Experience:

  • 5+ years of SaaS and/or technology sales experience is REQUIRED and non-negotiable
  • 2+ years of experience working within a consultative/solution sales model
  • Deal negotiation experience on client engagements valued at $100K or more is required


Physical Requirements:

  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
  • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one work site to another
